Another delicious recipe celebrating two of Western Australia’s fabulous ingredients: Jarrah Honey and prawns (shrimps for you folk in the US).

Gluten Free Honey Mustard Prawns
 Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp Jarrah honey (or good unprocessed honey)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 500 g uncooked, shelled large prawns
  • 250g frozen or fresh stir fry vegetables (carrots, beans, broccoli, etc.)
Method
  • Combine the honey, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, oil and water in a bowl
  • Toss the prawns in the mixture to coat well
  • Add a little oil to a pan and add the prawns and stir fry vegetables
  • Cook at a moderate heat, tossing constantly to make sure the honey mixture doesn’t burn
  • Once the prawns are nice and pink and cooked through serve quickly with some steamed rice
